Itchy skin usually needs one thing above all: moisture and lipids.
If you have itching without a rash, you should first check whether your skin is possibly too dry. In many cases, regular application of a moisturising and itch-relieving cream, lotion or something similar will help to maintain the skin's protective barrier.
If a (chronic) inflammation is the cause of the itching, an anti-inflammatory cream should also be used.
If this is not the case or if the symptoms do not diminish despite careful skin care, a doctor must be consulted.
